COACHING + CONSULTING

Curiosity is the
possibility of
everything.

Launching into ‘life’ can be complicated and tricky. Sometimes you need to step away from what’s familiar and safe to gain a new perspective on your untapped potential. Together, we will identify what’s most important to you, create a strategy, your narrative, and the momentum necessary to land a career that moves you toward your goals. Grounded in your values and informed by your experience, we’ll leverage your skills to create opportunity. The next best thing is up to you!

“To get on a path to success we need a plan. To achieve success, we need to be flexible when the path is blocked.”

Patti was somebody I could bounce ideas off of, and who helped me think creatively and critically about every step of the process. In helping me build my own personal brand and confidence, I was able to land a job in marketing media.

How we work
together

As every relationship is unique, together we will figure out your priorities and create a set of expectations. We’ll have 60 - 90 minute weekly or bi-weekly meetings, either in person or virtually. Within 24 hours of each meeting, you’ll get a complete set of notes from the session with my thoughts, recommendations and next steps. These become the basis for our next meeting.

In between meetings, you’ll have an assignment that prompts you to think deeply about your values and skills. These assignments create the momentum that keeps your career goals at the forefront of your thinking.

Patti gave me the structure and clarity I needed to organize, network, and navigate the professional world as a young person looking to break into the creative industries.

In my client’s words

“Coming out of college and moving to a new city, I never expected the job hunt to be as difficult as it was. The reality today, especially in a major city, is that every job is competitive. With easily accessible online job applications, AI tools, and a cutthroat job market, it can be almost impossible to even get an interview for an entry-level position. Even when you get that interview, it is increasingly difficult to perform well with multiple interview stages, recorded interviews with nobody on the other side, and fully digital communication. It can be hard to show your true self and connect with a hiring team. All of these difficulties made my own job hunt hard, and despite all the work I had done on my resume, informational interviews I had conducted, and hours of time spent on applications, I was really struggling to land a job.

Patti helped me have a third-party perspective on every issue in the job hunt. She aided me in updating my resume, trying out different strategies when applying, connecting me with more people in the industry, helping me figure out what type of job I’m actually interested in, and just being somebody to talk to about the process. We all love those close to us, but sometimes it can be too much to talk to your parents or friends about the job process. Patti was somebody I could bounce ideas off of and who helped me think both creatively and critically about every step of the process. In helping me build my own personal brand and confidence in myself, I was able to land a job in marketing media. I don’t believe that without Patti’s help I would have been hired at this company, because with her help I was able to navigate every step of the journey. I recommend Patti to anybody who is looking for a new job, considering a career change, or just hoping to build their personal brand. She acts not only as a mentor but as a friend, and she can help anybody trying to navigate this crazy job market.”  —Will S.

Patti gave me the structure and clarity I needed to organize, network, and navigate the professional world as a young person looking to break into the creative industries. Before working with Patti, I struggled to market myself and felt overwhelmed by the seemingly endless range of possible next steps I could take. Now I feel like I'm in the driver's seat with a clear road map for my professional life, ready to handle new challenges as they come. Thank you Patti Stein!! — R.Brooks

“Thank you so much for the brilliant work you do!! My son is a new person. Doing the resume and working through a 3 month plan was a door opener.” — Allyson B.

“Patti was instrumental in her assistance to our daughter who is a recent college graduate. Together they refined her resume, reviewed resources and methods for finding work. They targeted jobs that inspired our daughter, utilized her skills and gave her room to grow. My husband and I realized early on that we had not ”pounded the pavement” looking for work for many years ….and that no one even knows what that phrase means anymore. Patti takes time to get to know the individual and steer them in today’s job market. It was so helpful for us to be able to work with Patti at the beginning, step back and let her take the reins. She not only helped our daughter with this job search but also with her confidence for future growth.” — Martha K.
